DNA testing

Many people think of DNA sexing for the purpose of naming their birds but there are more important reasons than knowing weather your pet is male or female. For example if you bird is sick it will help your vet in diagnosing the proper illnesses; the vet would need to know your bird is a female to diagnose egg binding.  Also if you plan to breed your birds, DNA sexing will assist in setting up breeding program.  If you are interested in DNA sexing your birds, arrangements can be made by calling our store. 

Microchip

Microchipping ensures your pets’ quick recovery if and when they are stolen or lost. Microchipping is very simple when it is done by a professional technician.  We offer microchipping every third Sunday of the month. We suggest calling us to make an appointment though walk-ins are welcome.

Store Tours

We offer field trips and show and tell of our birds and reptiles for any local schools by appointment only. If you are interested in bringing a group please contact us 310-378-3052.
